Moving Forward!

So according to my scale at home, I've kicked slightly more than 86 pounds to the curb!  Do you know what this means?  This means that I have a month and a half to get to 100lbs kicked to the curb!  So 13 pounds in about 6 weeks?  What do you think about that?  I think that is definitely doable!  And completely doable by the end of the year!  I joined Weight Watchers on the 28 of December last year!  So freaking crazy!

I think it is harder is to wrap my head around it emotionally/mentally.  I sometimes fear that I will wake up one day and it will all be a dream.  It seems like it has happened so quickly!  The only thing I can say about that is; if it is a dream I know I will be able to do it!

Last night we had pancakes and bacon for dinner, it was soooo good.  AND I didnt have any issues with not having a gallbladder!  So far I havent had any side effects except sometimes unusual feelings in my lower abdomen.  I've also had steak with no problem.  The only "fast food" (and Im not sure I should classify it as fast food) I ever eat anymore is Dougs Fish Fry, it's the best place to get HUGE fried haddock sandwiches ever.  I haven't been there since my surgery.  This is the only food I am fearing.  I love their food so much but I am afraid I will have to run to the bathroom directly afterwards.  I am trying to wait it out a while before we go back out there.  It's in the next town over so that makes it a little easier as it's not right in town.  And the kids have been sick AND finances have been tight AND we have to use extra finances for Christmas, so all this adds up to the time going by quickly enough that I am not thinking about Dougs Fish Fry all the time.

I walked twice this week which I think really helped to lift my mood.  I was really down on Sunday looking at that mountain of homework I had to tackle for the week.  My husband kinda gave me a speech about how I always over achieve my school work and he knew this would be no different.  And he helped me get through one project at a time.  I am so thankful to have him.  He really is my rock, true love, and my greatest supporter.  I am proud to say I made it through the week and finished and turned in all of my homework and did well on all 3 of my in class presentations!

I really feel like I am getting back on track.  And that feels great!  We have about 5 weeks left of class, I've got to sign up for my next semester of classes.

I got invited to join the Phi Theta Kappa house at my college which is an honors society!  I am totally going to join, I think it would look great on my application for my next college AND it would look great on future resumes.

It just started hailing!  The sky grew dark and the hail just started failing! Earlier my husband called form the college, he works there, and said it was snowing, but it was sunny at our apartment.

Im glad I am out of my funk and moving towards all of my goals again!
