Losing Weight By Eating


Losing weight by taking responsibility for what you put in your mouth is so much easier than a strict exercise routine. What prompted this post? The fact that I have a head cold. If you have school age children it's safe to assume that you are sick often during the school year. And when you are sick, the last thing you want to do is exercise. Not to mention that the best way to get better is to rest. So you rest because you feel like caca. And then you start feeling disappointed in yourself because you are not exercising. And that happens twice maybe three times before you throw up your hands and declare your exercise routine a bust.

Am I right? I hate those vicious cycles.

Here's where portion size and controlling what you actually eat come in. You just keep going. In fact I find that I actually eat less when I feel sick because I just don't feel good enough to eat or I just don't have the energy to get out of bed.

In conclusion, I can just keep right on going. No discouragement here! In fact eating healthy probably speeds the healing process along.
