I find myself with some extra time before I have to leave for English class and Hamlet (first wrote that as Hamelt! Ha!) so I thought I would write a quick entry. Last night I thought I would get up early this morning and go for a walk. But last night was not cooperative with that idea. I am feeling better, still stuffy, but now of course my youngest and my hubby has it.
I brought Willow into our room before we turned the lights out because I knew she would be getting up and toddling in shortly anyways. I thought I would get rid of the crying and sobbing on the way to our room factor which reduce some of her discomfort by the time she made it in.
Well I ended up turning the lights on every two minutes anyways. First it was some cold and cough (wrote that as couch, wow I really am tired!!) medicines, then it was some all natural kids sleep aid, then it was the nebulizer for her breathing, then it was a complete rub down with all natural chest rub. (By the way I always rub it on the bottom on the feet and put socks on, this works the best for me and I hate having it on my chest anyways) It still took her a long time to settle in and fall asleep. The lights went on and off for her to get a drink of water and one of those times she spilled it on herself which went up with a shrill, lots of crying and a wardrobe change. I felt so bad for my little girly.
Well needless to say this morning when I tried to convince myself to roll out of bed and go for, at least, a short walk, my body responded by putting my promptly back to sleep. Oh well, try again tomorrow.
In other news, we can completely not afford for me to go to a Weight Watchers meeting tonight. Which I am ok with that but I think I need to start tracking again. I have been using My Fitness Pal to track my weight for awhile now, mainly for the widget I can post on my blog. Well My Fitness Pal offers a lot of different things to help with your weight journey and it is all for free! They even have a calorie tracker! You put in your weight, height, age and they give you an appropriate daily calorie intake value.
This morning I started making use of that system! So we shall see how it works! My weight has been going down this last week, official weigh in later today, I am attributing it to my increased intake of water. I read somewhere that for your body to let go of retaining water, you must give it all the water it needs so it feels like it doesn't need to hang on to every extra bit. Makes sense to me! Following through is a little harder and I find that it is easiest for me to drink lots of water at the end of the day when I am relaxing. I can usually get in 3 full cups. So I am going to keep that up.
